Matthew Mitchell

Chief Executive Officer

Matthew co-founded MediaPass™ and serves as the company's CEO. He is responsible for the company's overall strategy for and vision of helping online publishers prosper in an environment where most can't succeed with advertising alone.

Matthew most recently served as Vice President of Finance for Like.com, the online leader in comparison shopping for soft goods. During his time at Like.com Matthew oversaw all financial responsibilities, helped raise a $32M series C round and was instrumental in growing revenue 3X.

Prior to Like.com, Matthew spent over four years as Director of Finance for Reunion.com (now MyLife). While there, he developed the process and algorithms for Reunion's distribution and subscription strategy that enabled the company to grow from $3M in annual subscription revenue to over $100M. In addition to growing subscription revenue, he was responsible for all finance operations, including forecasting and planning, audit oversight, investment banking, capital structure, and budgeting.

Earlier, Matthew held various roles in finance and operations with Homestore.com (now Move, Inc.), the leading supplier of media and technology solutions that connect real estate professionals to consumers, and RealNetworks, where he helped in the earliest stages of its subscription digital music platform, MusicNet.

Matthew holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Pepperdine University and a B.A. in Business Administration from Seattle University, with a major in E-Commerce and Information Systems.

Janet Song

Director, Business Development

As Director of Business Development, Janet brings a proven track record in growing web products and services to MediaPass. Overseeing distribution and marketing, she is passionate about helping publishers and users enrich their businesses and interests online.

Janet joined MediaPass from Myspace where she worked in business development, executing partnerships with leading technology companies, content brands, and developers. Her internet experience began as an early hire at Userplane, a pioneer in social communication software, which was purchased by AOL in 2006. Prior to the acquisition, Janet managed new publisher acquisition for Userplane’s white-label applications across content and community websites including closing and managing key revenue partners. In addition to distribution, she was instrumental in marketing and operations.

Janet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California Los Angeles.

Marcus Lee

Director, Product Management

As Director of Product Management, Marcus is responsible for driving new development for MediaPass products and overseeing the product strategy. Marcus joined MediaPass as a Software Engineer where his passion and commitment to building new features that help publishers adopt a subscription revenue model still carries over to his current position.

Prior to MediaPass, Marcus was the Chief Technical Engineer of RealtyTracker.com, where he oversaw core development of the premier real estate lead generation platform that connected real estate proffessionals with buyers and sellers. Marcus was instrumental in implementing a scalable application framework that ultimately led to the strategic partnership with the direct marketing giant, Guthy-Renker.

Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Mangement Information Systems from the University of Southern California.

Paul Brown

Lead System Architect

Paul Brown is the Lead System Architect for MediaPass, where he provides architectural guidance and implementation strategies for the MediaPass software platform as well as technical direction for our development team. Paul was instrumental in rolling out the first versions of MediaPass encompassing the core functionality that our system is built upon today.

Prior to MediaPass, Paul was the Technical Lead for Music.com, a premier online community that connects users through music. While at Music.com, Paul managed the development staff and directed technical implementation and platform migration projects. Paul has also held similar Technical Lead positions for cutting edge web technology companies including Callipso, QuePasa.com and Slingshot Labs, a social media incubator for News Corporation.

Robert Ye

Lead Software Engineer

Robert Ye joined MediaPass as the Lead Software Engineer for MediaPass. He is responsible for organizing our company's effort in exploring new product features, services and infrastructure that support MediaPass publishers, customers and partners worldwide.

Before coming to MediaPass, Robert was part of the software engineering team for Slingshot Labs developing various experimental social media applications by using the Facebook and MySpace platforms. Prior to Slingshot Labs, Robert was Lead Developer at RealtyTracker.com where he architected the premiere real-estate lead generation and delivery system and developed the patented communication platform that helped home buyers stay informed of key milestones and navigate the complete sales cycle of real estate transactions.

Michael Persichina

Art Director

Mike joins MediaPass as the visual architect that works closely with all levels of our team to communicate identity and utility to publishers and their end users. Mike is responsible for all visual communication and creative direction and oversees the artistic design of all system user interfaces.

Prior to MediaPass, Mike has held Creative Art Director positions at Los Angeles Times Media Group and The Ballpark Agency, directing projects in brand development, advertising and design. His strategic approach has lead integrated campaigns with a multitude of high profile brands, including ESPN, Directv, Easton, Los Angeles Times, Disney Concert Hall, and TNT among others. Mike’s work includes interactive, direct marketing, broadcast media and design. In addition, he has considerable experience in new business development and brand identity. Mike has worked on the agency side of the advertising business for 7 years.

Mike holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University and soon after went on to study Advertising at Art Center Collage of Design where he was awarded ACCD Portfolio Scholarship upon entry.

Andrea Davis

Senior Account Manager

Andrea Davis joined MediaPass in July 2010 as Account Manager. Andrea is responsible for the day-to-day management of publisher accounts and serves as the primary liaison between the customer and the company. Additionally, Andrea provides customer support, technical support, planning and optimization for publishers using the MediaPass platform.

Before joining MediaPass, Andrea held the position of Account Representative at Tesla Consulting where she handled client support and account management at the online lead generation company. Prior to Tesla Consulting, Andrea was a Sales and Marketing Associate at eForce Media, where she managed customer accounts as well as media campaigns for the online customer acquisition company.

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Old Dominion University.
